About Me

I’m Jenny, a CU Advertising graduate, snowboarder and budding chef discovering the joy in each moment of an ever-changing life. Spending time focusing on the positive, eliminating the negative, and finding inspiration through the senses. I recently returned from an eight-month vacation in Honolulu, HI where I was a cook at Iron Chef Morimoto’s restaurant in Waikiki. Now I am a cook at The Kitchen {Next-Door} in Boulder, CO and a culinary student at Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. I am very interested in different ethnic cuisines and love learning about seasonal, sustainable and local food.

My blog includes my recipes, quotes and photos that inspire me from day to day. Feel free to ask me any questions or simply let me know if you like something!

Recipes: I will give credit for recipes that I have adapted from other bloggers/places. As we all know, there are so many recipes, so many ideas and so many bloggers out there. It is very common for two bloggers to have the same idea. If I had the same idea as another blogger, but a different recipe, I may not cite the other blogger (because I might not have even seen it). Know that if this happens, I am not trying to insult or steal another’s work.

    Hi Jen!
    Thanks for the recipes, I will be coming off of a 11 day water fast next week and am in search of a transition diet. Which brought me to your green soup;) I have a question about exactly what was your regimens during your detox? Was it only the smoothie and soup or were there any Other recipes or components that you can share? Always looking for great well balanced ways to detox.
