I have been on a roll of restaurant dinners the past few weeks. I have eaten at Otodo Den, Jax Fish House and SALT recently AND get to eat at Frasca on Thursday for my graduation dinner! So in the spirit of eating out, I am sharing a new website for all you foodies that love finding new restaurants. I recently had the opportunity to test out and review a new site called Smorgie. It is a social website that lets you search restaurants and make different lists of your favorites, ones you would like to try, or any other idea you have.
Their “About” section says: Smorgie is the new, totally free way to remember and share your favorite eating places. There’s plenty of ways you can look up restaurant and bar reviews, but if you can’t remember them later what’s the use? After talking to people who love food as much as we do, we noticed a gap for something new, and that’s how we came up with Smorgie.
My Restaurant Bucket List
Pretty much every restaurant that I searched for came up. If you have a restaurant in mind that does not show up, you can also enter it manually. I recently made my “Restaurant Bucket List” on their site. It is filled with restaurants that I haven’t eaten at, but would like to try. I am finding myself constantly adding more restaurants to my list! I can’t wait to be able to just pull up my list and pick a restaurant to try!
With this site, you can also browse other people’s lists for ideas and search for new restaurants. I think this site will be great to help a foodie, like myself, to keep from forgetting the tasty places they want to try! I like the idea of the lists, but would like it if you could read more reviews or browse restaurants by category. It would also be cool if you could make reservations through the site, like on Open Table.
My username on the site is savourthesenses. If you join (and you should), add me so we can share lists back and forth!

Sounds like a fun website. I love getting other peoples opinions before I go to a new place.
