Pulled Pork Tostadas w/ Stone Fruit Salsa
I cannot get enough of all the delicious stone fruit that is in season! I have been buying cherries for almost a month straight. It has had me daydreaming about having my own fruit treesĀ and big vegetable gardens… Someday! For now I will obsess over my tiny patch in front of my apartment. I have harvested two whole green beans and a good amount of snow peas. My carrots, kale, mixed greens and broccoli are well on their way though!
Blackberry Ginger Chicken
These longer days have been so great! I love getting up after the sun has come up and going to bed when the sun is just finally setting. For the most part, my vegetable garden is loving all the sun, too! Although, we have most definitely still had our fair share of rain here in the Rocky Mountains. I made this recipe on a lazy, rainy day a little while back.
Black Bean Chicken Baked Potatoes- Oct. SRC
Wow has a month seriously already passed since the last Secret Recipe Club reveal day?! I guess time flies when you’re having fun right? Between school, work and a trip to Italy, I somehow managed to still get my recipe made for this month’s Secret Recipe Club. I can also say that I am very happy I did because I found so many good recipes on my assigned blog this month, Angela’s Kitchen.
365 Days of Slow Cooking Guest Post: Cafe Rio Pork
Today I would like to share with you a great slow cooker recipe, courtesy of Karen over at 365 Days of Slow Cooking. Being a snowboarder, I love slow cooker recipes. I can just put everything in the pot, then head out for the hill for the day. Karen’s site has tons of delicious slow cooker recipes for those who could always use a bit more time. She also has her own cookbook as well! With that said, I would like to welcome Karen!
