Asian-Style Garlic Honey Chicken Wings

Asian Garlic WingsWe survived the Holidays! Sorry I have been MIA for a while. The Holidays are the busiest time of the year for a Catering Liaison; but we survived and are now enjoying the normal chaos of ski season in the mountains. There hasn’t been much snow, but it has been pretty cold! We have been eating a lot of comfort food, but are still trying to balance it with healthier options.

Honey Soy Garlic Chicken WingsI recently starting only buying whole chickens. Why? Because for each chicken, then you get a free couple quarts of chicken stock! When I break down the birds, I put the tenders and wings in the freezer. Once I have collected enough of either, I make a meal out of them. This gives you a kind of “bonus meal” from the bird. I bake my chicken wings, which makes them much healthier. After you bake them, you can add whatever type of sauce you desire, get creative! These ones were tossed in a garlicky honey-soy sauce. Delish!
